Judith A. Johnson

Judith Johnson is a computer engineer in the Electrodynamics Branch of the GSFC Laboratory for Extraterrestrial Physics. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. degree in mathematics. Her career at Goddard began in 1984 when she was hired to work on the analysis and display software for the ISEE-1 and SCATHA electric field instruments (EFI). She has done configuration management for the Broad Band X-ray Telescope (BBXRT) Payload Development and Operations Team and the San Marco EFI. In 1991 Ms. Johnson became a civil servant and assisted with the reduction and analysis of data from Sounding Rocket campaigns, including chemical release data, and the POLAR EFI. She worked on the ground support software (GSEOS) for the Low Energy Neutral Atom Imager (LENA) on IMAGE and currently is providing support for the Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC). In addition, Ms. Johnson serves as the Computer Security Official for the laboratory.
